From Sardinia to Monterey - A Vision Built to Last.
PM Landscaping first opened its doors in 2008, built on the vision and determination of its founder, Paolo Manca. What started with a single truck, a few tools, and a dream has grown into one of the most respected landscaping companies in Monterey County.
Paolo’s story begins in Sardinia, Italy where breathtaking landscapes and a deep connection to nature shaped his passion for design from a young age. As a teenager, he launched his first landscaping company on the island. In 2006, he immigrated to the United States, and Monterey captured his heart as the place where his skills and passion could truly thrive.
He started humbly taking on odd jobs, working for a local landscaping company, and even serving with the Sand City Police Department to deepen his ties to the community. But his heart always returned to the craft. He began offering services to friends and neighbors, and the quality of his work spread his reputation quickly not only for excellence, but for generosity. Even in those early days, Paolo dedicated his time and services to the Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County, a partnership that continues to this day.
PM Landscaping has grown into a full-service operation. Paolo’s designs feature Central Coast as well his European influences, water-conscious planting, and a preference for native species that thrive in Monterey’s climate. The company continues to grow thoughtfully, and always with quality and community at the center.
